The Opportunity
LACI’s brand and digital presence did not fully reflect its leadership in cleantech innovation. The website’s outdated and unintuitive design created barriers to engagement, making it difficult for startups, partners, and stakeholders to access key resources and connect with LACI’s initiatives. Inconsistent branding across marketing materials further impacted recognition and outreach.
Creative Impact
As Head of Creative, I led a brand refresh that included a complete redesign of the website to enhance navigation and user experience. I created a cohesive brand guide to maintain consistency across all digital and print materials. Additionally, I advanced LACI’s digital marketing strategies by optimizing social media campaigns and producing engaging content, resulting in a substantial increase in visibility and audience engagement.
Additionally, I supported workforce program recruiting efforts with tailored campaigns that effectively reached and engaged potential participants. Through sustainability-driven design and impactful storytelling, I strengthened LACI’s outward-facing exposure, driving higher levels of engagement and amplifying its mission.

A strong visual identity was essential in positioning LACI as a leader in cleantech innovation and attracting top talent to its workforce programs. I led the full-scale brand refresh, expanding LACI’s visual identity to create a cohesive and compelling look across all digital platforms. Partnering closely with copywriters and recruiting teams, I refined brand messaging and designed targeted social visuals, landing pages, and custom marketing materials that effectively engaged potential applicants.
By adopting a refreshed, data-driven approach to our creative strategy, I ensured that recruitment campaigns were not only human centric, but also aligned with LACI’s mission. The optimized digital content and consistency in branding across all touchpoints resulted in enhanced audience engagement and a notable increase in program applications. Prominent events such as the LACItizen Awards and PowerDay further solidified LACI’s brand presence, featuring immersive visual branding that resonated across digital channels and strengthened recruitment outreach.
